Coaches Conference 2022 - IN PERSON!
After spending two years in a virtual environment, the ISSDA Coaches Conference will return in-person at the Drury Plaza Hotel September 9-10, 2022. Along with our New Coach Academy, we will also have workshops that focus on coaching interpretation and debate events, hosting tournaments, personal development and several open forum discussions. We are also bringing back the evening banquet along with the Hall of Fame Induction.

Highlights from our 2020 Conference
Indiana High School Forensics Association (IHSFA) Coaches Conference is an annual opportunity for Speech and Debate coaches from across the state to meet, share coaching and teaching strategies, and prepare for the upcoming season. Workshops are presented by national and state award winning coaches from Indiana and outside of the state. Teachers may earn Continuing Education Credits towards their license renewal.
Coaches Conference also offers the New Coach Academy, designed to aid and support new coaches and new programs with specific focus on IHFSA rules and events, coaching strategies, and team management.
Middle school coaches may choose from a variety of workshops tailored to their specific events or choose to attend the general sessions as well.
This conference hosts the annual IHSFA membership meeting where current members (schools) discuss and vote on resolutions regarding the organization.
